It is Our Understanding that the Bible Affirms the Following Truths ...

... that the Bible claims, and is affirmed to be, the inspired Word of God. It is the complete and final written revelation from God to man, without error or contradiction in the original manuscripts, fully and verbally inspired.  We further affirm that God has so providentially preserved these writings through the centuries so that what we have today is a reliable representation of those original documents.

... that one cannot begin to understand the Bible apart from a personal relationship with the Author, the Spirit of God. Furthermore, we also believe that the Bible is to be understood and interpreted through a historical, contextual, and grammatical investigation, employing the normal rules of interpretation as one would for any written work.

... that there is only one God, who created the heavens, the Earth, and all that is within them in six literal days, just as His Spirit has said through Moses. He is eternal and immutable, and manifests Himself in three distinct Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

... God the Son took on humanity through the virgin birth. He remained fully God, but was now fully Human as well without the sinful nature passed on by man through Adam. Being perfect man, He could die for man.  Being the fully God, He could die for all men  and take the punishment we deserve for our sin. This truth was powerfully demonstrated in that, after His crucifixion, death, and burial, Christ rose again on the third day as justification of His power and righteousness. The Son of God, Jesus the Messiah, then ascended into Heaven awaiting a time that the Father has set for His return to judge the earth. There is salvation in no one else.

... that all humanity is born into this world separated from God, having a sinful nature which has been passed on from Adam through his male descendants. As a result, all people born into this world are already lost and can only be saved by being "born again" through personally placing their faith in the promise of forgiveness that God offers through His Son, Jesus. Salvation is purely a work of God. Nothing man can ever do would merit forgiveness.

... that all people throughout all time have been saved in the exact same way: By Grace, through Faith in the Promises of God, and that these promises have their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. We also believe that, while the basis of salvation has always been the same for all people, God has administered His plan for man in varied ways (dispensations) since creation. Today He is working through the Church: a distinct group of people who are indwelt with the Spirit of God, beginning on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, and continuing until Christ calls them all to Himself just prior to the 7-year tribulation period spoken by the prophets. Following this time of tribulation, Jesus will then return to the Earth with His His holy angels and set up His millennial kingdom, after which there will be a time of judgment and the creation of a new heavens and earth where we will dwell with Him forever.

... that heaven is a real place where the saved will dwell with Christ forever. We also believe that hell is a real and temporal place of torment for those who refuse God's offer of salvation. These will ultimately be thrown into the lake of fire and be eternally separated from God. With this realization, it is our great desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ so that all might know the assurance of salvation that Christ alone can give.

... that there is a powerful angel called Lucifer, the Devil, and Satan, who, along with other fallen angels (called demons or evil spirits) rebelled against God and are now destined to spend eternity in the lake of fire. These now seek to deceive the world, defeat believers, and destroy the work of God. However, they can be resisted by believers, who are protected by God and the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord.

... that genuine believers, who are born again by the Holy Spirit, are also indwelt, baptized and sealed by the Holy Spirit. They are thus unable to be separated from the love of God in Jesus Christ and will find within themselves a desire to follow the teachings of God's Word and to be pleasing to Him in all they do. This desire will be made possible by the filling of the Spirit to live a godly life and to be bold in our witness for the Lord, along with the ministry we receive from gifted leaders and other brethren within the local Church body.

... that the nation of Israel is distinct from the Church and has a special place in God’s plan. Though having rejected the Messiah and resultantly being displaced (not "replaced") as God's representatives, they will eventually turn to Christ in the latter days and see the establishment of the long hoped for earthly Kingdom ruled by the Christ in which all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled.
